Students are conducting research on campus and abroad, working closely with faculty across all academic departments and programs.

Loyola University Maryland has announced the members of its spring 2019 Dean's List. In order to qualify for the Dean's List at Loyola, a student must achieve a minimum QPA of at least 3.500 for the term, provided that, in the term they have successfully completed courses totaling a minimum of 15 credits.

The criteria for the WPI Dean's List differs from most other universities as WPI does not compute a grade point average (GPA). Instead, WPI defines the Dean's List by the amount of work completed at the A-level in courses and projects.

The following students have been named to the Champlain College Dean's List for achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or higher in the Spring 2019 semester.

Bates College graduated 469 students from 36 states and 36 countries on May 26, 2019. Cumulatively, the Class of 2019 performed 80,000 hours of community service, exemplifying Bates' commitment to community learning and civic action.

Students with a quality point average in the range of 3.300 to 3.599 for a semester's work were recently placed on the Deans' Commendation List. Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

The following students have been selected for inclusion on the Dean's List for academic achievement during the Spring 2019 semester at St. Lawrence University.

217 Bates College students presented research at the 18th Mount David Summit. The annual celebration of academic achievement highlights undergraduate research; student creative work in art, dance, theater, music and film/video; projects conducted in the context of academic courses; and community-engaged research.

Four hundred and fifty-nine graduates were conferred the degree of Bachelor of Arts from Carleton College on Saturday, June 15, 2019, the culmination of four years of study in the liberal arts.

A total of 11,406 students enrolled during the 2019 spring term at The University of Alabama were named to the Dean's List with an academic record of 3.5 or above or the President's List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's). The UA Dean's and President's lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The lists do not apply to graduate students or to undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.

Students have been named to the University of Delaware Dean's List for the Spring 2019 semester.

Loyola University Maryland recognized the class of 2019 at its 167th Commencement Exercises on May 18, 2019.

The Iowa State University College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Dean's List honors students who were enrolled in at least 12 credit hours and earned a 3.5 grade point average or higher for the term.

To qualify for the Dean's List, students must have a semester grade point average of 3.50 or better and must have completed successfully all courses for which they were registered.

More than 830 students have been named to the spring 2019 Dean's List. To be named to the Dean's List, a student must have carried throughout the semester a course load of four or more graded credits with an average of 3.5 or above.

Sixty-eight students from Bates College's spring sports teams have received All-Academic honors from the New England Small College Athletic Conference. To be honored, a student-athlete must have reached sophomore academic standing and be a varsity letter winner with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50 (raised from 3.40 a year ago).

At the end of every academic year, William Woods University recognizes a select group of its students with the Distinguished Scholar award. Faculty members designate one graduating senior from each program for the honor. While eligibility requires a minimum 3.4 grade point average, faculty also consider other relevant academic factors in the selection process. "The Distinguished Scholar is a very prestigious award here at William Woods, identifying and honoring the top student in each discipline," said Dr. Aimee Sapp, vice president of academic affairs and dean of the undergraduate college.

More than 800 students received diplomas at Harding University's commencement exercises on May 11, 2019. Graduates include students from the College of Allied Health, College of Arts and Humanities, College of Bible and Ministry, Paul R. Carter College of Business Administration, Cannon-Clary College of Education, Carr College of Nursing, College of Pharmacy, College of Sciences, and the Honors College.

The following students have been named to the dean's list at Bates College for the winter semester ending in April 2019.

Some 3,275 students were awarded degrees during the University of Vermont's 218th commencement ceremonies. Darren Walker who presides over the Ford Foundation, one of the world's most influential social justice philanthropies and one of the largest private foundations in the United States, delivered the address.

Select students have been named to the Spring 2019 Dean's List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester.

A record number of graduate and undergraduate students at Lasell College were awarded degrees on Saturday, May 11, 2019 in a ceremony featuring remarks from Massachusetts Congressman Joseph Kennedy III.

A total of 615 bachelor degrees were awarded by St. Lawrence University during Commencement ceremonies, which were held on May 19 in Canton, New York.

New York Institute of Technology's School of Management presented academic and achievement awards to 68 students who demonstrated outstanding performance throughout the 2018-19 academic year.

Bucknell University presented degrees to nearly 900 graduates at Commencement on May 19, 2019.

To be named to the dean's list, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school.
